A STRONG FOUNDATION
For Jonathon Davis, construction has never simply been about renovating homes. It's about going about it the right way. His career began at a young age when the president of a respected construction company saw something special in him and offered him an opportunity to work on a renovation project. More than just a first job, it became an apprenticeship. Under the guidance of an experienced mentor, Jonathon learned that true craftsmanship isn't measured by how quickly a project is finished, but by the pride you take in every detail. Those lessons shaped the rest of his career.
Over the next several years, Jonathon became a partner in a construction company in New York, expanding both his leadership and hands-on experience. He later relocated to Maine, where he joined one of the region's premier residential builders. Working alongside talented tradespeople, he continued to refine his skills in every aspect of residential construction—from framing and finish carpentry to remodeling and custom renovations. Eventually, there came a point when Jonathon knew it was time to build something of his own.
Today, every project reflects the same philosophy that has guided him since his very first day on the job. "As I work, I constantly step back and ask myself, 'Would I accept the quality of this work in my own home?' If the answer isn't yes, I'm not finished."
That simple standard influences every decision he makes.

Throughout his career, Jonathon occasionally heard others say, "The homeowner will never notice." He never accepted that way of thinking. If something wasn't right, he fixed it—not because someone might see it, but because he would. To him, integrity means doing quality work even when no one is looking. Because exceptional craftsmanship isn't about what people notice. It's about never accepting anything less than your very best.
When he's not on a job site, Jonathon returns home to a quiet 22-acre residential and natural wonderland in Union, Maine, where he lives with his wife, Taylor, and their two young sons. It's there you'll often find him in his wood shop, building furniture, honing his craft, or tackling the next project around the property. Taylor tends to their flock of chickens and maintains a charming little roadside stand stocked with fresh eggs, inviting neighbors—and anyone who could use a helping hand—to take what they need.
For the Davis family, craftsmanship, generosity, and taking pride in your work aren't just part of a business. They're simply a way of life.
